There's no access to the downstairs. You can also relax on the front porch or back deck overlooking 9 wooded acres.

The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

The Hideaway at Mystic Falls offers more than a place for Vampire Diaries fans to stay, it offers an unforgettable opportunity to immerse yourself in the TVD universe. From the oversized paintings that hung in the Salvatore and Lockwood mansions on the show, to the prop Mikaelson coffin we had reupholstered with red velvet and installed on the wall of our living room, when you stay at The Hideaway you feel less like a fan of the TVD universe and more like a character living in it.
