orto_uralla is a shed conversion just for couples. Simple luxury…that soothes the soul. King bed, bath with a view, kitchenette, stunning floor to ceiling windows capturing sun and views, indoor wood fire and outdoor fire pit and your very own Bocce court. orto_uralla offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind. Please note: The shed is not suitable for children or infants The shed is close to our house but you will have complete privacy (except maybe from the chickens and kangaroos!)

Designer Country Cottage

Designer cottage tastefully furnished with absolute breathtaking views overlooking scenic farmland on a working goat farm - close to town. Very private and tranquil. This modern purpose designed cottage was built in 2020. Northeast facing bedroom with king sized bed overlooking kangaroos and wild goats. Our cottage offers everything the discerning traveler wants. Experience a real gem, only 5kms from Glen Innes, high on a hill over-looking the town. Note the road up is a country gravel road.

Highlands Lodge

Highlands Lodge is a magnificent stone and timber chalet nestled amongst 150 year old deciduous English Elm and many other European Trees. It is beautiful year round but particularly in Autumn. Located at Black Mountain (approx. half way between Sydney and Brisbane) in the heart of the beautiful New England Region, it is only 25 minutes north of Armidale and 10 minutes south of Guyra. Set on a working Sheep and Cattle property, Highlands Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Creek Shack - Off Grid

The Creek Shack offers a private "off-grid" escape, designed to immerse you in the natural beauty of its serene creek side location. Barking Dog Gallery Bedsit

Barking Dog Gallery is opposite The Top Pub and New England Brewery on the main road in Uralla. The self catering bedsit is attached to the back of the house down the driveway behind Barking Dog Galley and the pottery workshop. The bedsit features skylights, double glazing, antique and modern furniture, a queen size bed and a well equiped kitchen. Tea, coffee and milk is supplied. Just walk across the road for a great meal at The Top Pub. Check in after 3pm. Check out 10am.

Gimardi Gatehouse. A little oasis 6km from town.

The Garden Shed

This new, fully self-contained granny flat is clean and spacious, and centrally located - 10 to 15 minute walk to town centre and 3.5 km from the UNE. Shared backyard and garden with the owner-occupied main house, you can feel free to help yourself to the vege patch. After two busy years, and lovely, consistent guest feedback, I'm making a small rate adjustment to keep things in line with the market. Note - security cameras are external only

Glen Waverly Farm Stay

The beautiful, one bedroom, well appointed cottage set in a park like garden 3 kms south of Glen Innes. With a comfortable Queen size bed, and a single rollaway bed for extra guests, our cottage is well appointed and comfortable. It is cosy in winter with a wood heater and cool in summer with air conditioning. The verandah is great for sitting outside and enjoying a cool drink whilst looking at the picturesque valley, and beautiful sunsets.

Kai Iwi Estate - Starlight Cabin

A secluded self contained cabin with generous breakfast provisions. Rustic, modern and super comfy inside with a large covered outdoor patio and views to get lost in. Enjoy the space, peace and quiet, take in the abundant wildlife, take a stroll in the paddocks or fish in the dam. The Lodge@Tomaree is a self contained, two bedroom, two bathroom guesthouse that shares our one hectare block. Lovely views over Inverell; suitable for couples, families and business travellers. House trained dogs are welcome on request. Fenced yard with paved area, lawn, small garden and a clothes line. Parking space (not under cover).
