Welcome to our little slice of heaven in my favorite area of the Allegheny National Forest (ANF). If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the forest, Hearts Content is your spot! Outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds are welcome! Whether it be hiking, orienteering, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or cross country skiing, you can do it all from this location! During the winter, you will need AWD or 4WD as the cabin is located on a private lane not maintained by the township.

Spotless, romantic, and well stocked, this has become one of Pennsylvania's most loved getaways for anniversaries, honeymoons, or just a weekend with nothing on the calendar. Hike the Allegheny National Forest trails, paddle the river, hit the firepit at night, or just play cornhole and Yardzee in the yard. The living space furnished with mid-century furniture made locally in Jamestown, NY has high ceilings and large windows around the main rooms. This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.

House on the Allegheny River

Kick back and relax or get out and explore the Allegheny river! We have board games to play inside with a beautiful view of the river and a fire pit to relax around outside. The deck on the water across the road is yours to enjoy as well. If you’re adventurous, get out and kayak/canoe the Allegheny. We have a ramp in the grass that leads in and out of the river. It is also a quiet road so great for a bike ride, walk or jog along the river.

Gracie's Great Getaway

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place located on the Allegheny River. Stay for hunting and fishing trips with friends. Bring your boat and launch it right in front of the cabin. Get your supplies at the local Trading Post (fire wood, groceries and more). Bring your ATV and enjoy the trails only a few miles away from the place. You have more guests? No problem if you like to put up a tent or two. ( ask the host for details ).

The Rustic Run Cabin located in Warren County, Pennsylvania, surrounded by Timberlands, State and National Forests. Rustic Run is a perfect cabin getaway for couples, families, and groups of friends searching for a relaxing vacation or ideal lodging close to many outdoor adventures! Open year-round. We welcome well behaved, mature and non-destructive dogs. Two dogs is our limit. There is an extra $50 pet fee per stay.
