Built in 1912 by a prominent lumber baron its been well cared for and updated with a new kitchen. 4 BR, 3 baths. Fire place in living room. Fenced yard has deck, grill, fire pit. Small dogs welcome for $60 fee each (max 2) Elegant enough for a romantic weekend, yet still comfortable for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

The MacArthur House

Four generations of our family have resided at The MacArthur House. Formally a farm house it is a quaint & charming home with many of its original features. The kitchen has a chalkboard that came from one of the local schools. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in close proximity to the local schools,colleges & hospital. We are licensed. We love animals, but we do not invite pets to stay on our property. We also do not allow smoking, or tobacco anywhere on our property.

The Long House

My place is close to Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands It is located 2 miles north of Washburn or 10 miles south of Bayfield. Peaceful country setting, the long house is a freshly remodeled mobile home. Sorry, no pets. I have increased the number of guests to six . There are 4 double beds in the cabin.
