This log-style retreat sits deep in the woods above Tamworth, fully equipped for comfort without sacrificing the rugged feel. Hike local trails, stargaze in near-zero light pollution, or sit by the fire pit with the mountains in front of you. The optional wood-fired sauna steps from the door is the perfect end to the day. Welch Mountain Chalet

Small suite located on 1st floor of Welch Mountain Chalet. It is nestled at the foot of Welch Mountain with the popular Welch Dickey trail nearby. You have the option of booking one or two bedrooms. Bedroom one with queen bed ($140) and bedroom two with full bed can be added for $20/person. Pet friendly (one dog limit and $20 fee charged). Two night stay required during leaf season.
