Wedmore village with 3 pubs, deli, Indian, cafe and shops is only 1.3 miles away. Cheddar Gorge/Mendip Hills are a short drive, Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol too. Somerset is a great county to explore with its hills/levels, historic sites, nature reserves, coastline and local cider makers. SORRY NO PETS. Week/month discount.

1850's cottage annexe nr historic Wedmore (King Alfred signed the treaty with the Vikings here) overlooking the Somerset Levels & close to Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells, Weston-Super-Mare & the beautiful cities of Bath & Bristol. Perfect location for bird watching (see the starling murmurations Nov-Feb) nature walks & the famous traditional Wilkins Cider Farm is an easy stroll.The cottage has amazing views with patio area & wildlife pond. Good for couples, solo adventurers or for remote working.

Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Hidden away in a unique rural setting on the Somerset Levels.  Light, airy and cosy with log burner. Looking out of the glass frontage you will find our alpacas, goats, ponies and various poultry . Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Our annexe has been refurbished to provide a high-end environment, ideal for 2 adults to relax in. It is set in an area called the Allertons, a cluster of beautiful character villages. It is always a pleasure to stroll around. The pace is relaxed, the locals are very friendly and will direct you to the local pubs and shops if requested. The Mendip hills , Wells and Glastonbury are very near, and all offer so much for sight seekers.
