The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

This unique property is a rustic cabin with modern amenities--created from an 1880's tobacco barn. A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. A full sized living room with fireplace and TV. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or listen to the rain hit the country tin roof.

Foot Hill Farms II Hanging Rock

Unplug and reconnect in this private country home with oak, cedar and pine throughout. Enjoy a full modern kitchen, with open concept to living room. Main floor has two bedrooms and 1 bath with large shower. Downstairs is a pool table room, 3rd bedroom and full bath. Relax on wrap around porch with rockers and swing. Enjoy the fire pit, wood provided. Hang up the hammock and relax. 10 min. drive to Hanging Rock State Park and 20 mins. to Pilot Mtn. State Park.

The Green Cabin at Luna's Trail

The Green Cabin offers beautiful mountain views, spacious indoor areas, a pool table, and wood stove. It is located within a large crop of blueberries and blackberries, a plus during summer. Our restaurant is available Friday Lunch - Sunday Breakfast. There are sometimes large, private events downstairs. Please ask ahead if one may affect your visit.
