The Sparta House is located in downtown Sparta but with almost an acre right on the Calfkiller River, you'd never know it! It's the best of both worlds. Walk to great coffee shops and pottery studios or fish from the back yard or bird watch from the sun room. There are many amazing waterfalls and superior hiking spots all within a 15 minute drive. Fall Creek Falls, Virgin Falls, Burgess Falls, Rock Island, Sunset Rock, Lost Creek Falls and Cummins Falls are all just a short drive away.

So glad Grumpy's is finally finished, it's been a fun 4-year complete remodel project, working weekends and constantly looking for pieces to make it Unique. Grumpy's Getaway is located directly across the road from Rock Island State Park, It has 2 bedrooms, a walk in shower, a wraparound Porch with a Hot Tub perfect for relaxing. Also, have a 50 amp RV plug at the corner of the Cabin for EV Car charging if needed, We Do Not offer a clean out station. Firewood and Kindling are provided.

Our farmhouse styled apartment is just 2 blocks for the historic town square. Within walking distance of the local coffee shop, brewery, bicycle shop, and several locally owned restaurants. Several activities for this area would be hiking, boating, kayaking, canoeing, biking and more! Sparta is home to the Calfkiller River that flows into the Caney Fork River to Rock Island State Park then to Center Hill Lake. Its only a 20 minute drive to Center Hill Lake!
