Fire up the charcoal BBQ, roast s'mores at the fire pit, and enjoy peaceful evenings under the stars. Don't miss the secret trail to Red Mountain—just steps from the driveway—or explore countless scenic hikes in the area. On warmer days, cool off with a swim in the crystal-clear waters of nearby Silver Lake.

This restored 1950's authentic log cabin maintains all it's original charm with added modern amenities and comforts. The Logs at Glacier Springs is the perfect getaway after a day on the mountain or exploring the surrounding Mt. Baker wilderness. Enjoy the soothing sounds of a nearby creek from the main bedroom. This spot is perfect for the 4x4 enthusiast, just minutes from a forestry service road. There is ample parking on site for truck and trailer. Enjoy nature and hiking at beautiful Cascade Falls, which is also only minutes away.

Welcome to the Vedder River Retreat! We’re 15 min away from Cultus Lake, 25 min away from Chilliwack lake and nestled amongst endless hiking, fishing and outdoor adventures that await you! Have a fire during campfire season or kick back beside the creek right outside the patio door and enjoy the sounds of the birds and the river! Have a soak in the wood fired cedar hot tub under the stars. The cabin is the perfect place to chill out after a day on the hill or just a great hideout to escape into nature for a few days. Have a great night sleep on your brand new memory foam mattress surrounded by the forest and a rushing creek.

Situated between Bellingham and Mount Baker, the cabin is in the ideal place to experience urban tourism in Bellingham and the majestic beauty of the mountains. 45 min from Mt Baker Ski Area, you’ll be surrounded by the best of the Pacific Northwest, a great base for year-round activities in the Mount Baker area. We hope that our cabin will provide comfort for all the adventure or a peaceful cozy spot to unwind.

Cozy Log Cabin

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.

The Heart of the Mountain.

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, play bocce, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill. Unwind in our space and let it all fall away. We welcome you to breath deeply and relax at our cabin.
