Arriving at Olival de São Filipe means first stopping to take in the view. The high location of the seven-hectare estate provides rich vistas. “Even more beautiful than in the pictures”, is a frequently heard response. Située au centre du village de Carvalhal, la maison se trouve à proximité des cafés, restaurants et boutiques du village, et à 10mn à peine en vélo des plus belles plages de la région. La maison est composée de 4 chambres toutes avec leur salle de bain, la cuisine ouverte sur la salle-à-manger et le salon ont été récemment décorés dans le style de Comporta. À l’extérieur, les invités peuvent profiter d’une piscine, d’une pergola avec un coin salon, et d’une table pour des repas en plein air.

This small house is an exercise on simplicity and reworking of traditional architectural elements.
