Welcome to the river house, our little slice of central Texas heaven! Here you’ll find a comfy, secluded, private home on the banks of the Medina river, located 45 minutes outside of San Antonio and a short 15 minute drive to Bandara. This recently renovated two bedroom all rock home has a bonus room, a large full bath, spare half bath, and everything a family could need to enjoy a great trip to the Medina river. The river is very family friendly and 100 yards directly in front of the house.

Enjoy reconnecting with nature with a walk or swim in the Sabinal River, hike at Lost Maples Park, birdwatching, or enjoying the stars and a campfire at night! 2 Bedroom 1 bath fully furnished comfy cabins. "Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Wild Oak Ranch Riverfront Cabin

Rustic cabin on over 10 acres with the wet weather Sabinal River (contact us for water levels if this is a concern) along the back surrounded by beautiful oak amd cypress trees. A natural playscape, porch swings, grill, wildlife, all the perfect makings for a fantastic getaway. Just a one minute drive to Utopia but also great proximity to Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Natural Area for great hiking, swimming, etc. Great location to enjoy all the Texas Hill Country has to offer.

This peaceful cabin is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country, close to Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park and Hill Country State Natural Area. Drive through the Hill Country on the Twisted Sisters, enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Close by, you can enjoy floating or swimming in the Frio River and the Sabinal River at the Utopia Park. Utopia has a renowned golf course featured in the movie Seven Days in Utopia. Concan 20 miles away also has a golf course.

Just 3.5 miles south of Lost Maples SNA, big tooth maples and live oaks surround the cottage, providing shade and privacy. (Our home is nearby.) Birding, dark skies close by. Across the road, our “beach” offers privacy and a natural view of the Sabinal River. Progressive owners, our mantra is "make yourselves at home!" In business since 1994, we are just real people accommodating real people. How does that sound? (Sorry, No TV. And, please, no pets.)
