June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. In 1 hour from Dublin airport the cottage is situated on our family dairy farm, we are a 10-minute walk from the shores of Sheelin and nearby Crover House Hotel. The stone cottage was previously home to Dan Rua. Completely renovated the cottage it is back to full life, with 4 acres of land hosting home to our younger friesian calves, providing a traditional Irish Cottage Setting.

There are 2 bedrooms, one king and the other bedroom with a double and single bed. All essential kitchen facilities are provided and a welcome pack upon arrival.

In Relation to Visiting Lough Rinn Rowing Centre there is lots of Parking for Boats.. Canoes etc. I can offer 4 Double Rooms 1 ensuite & a Shared Bathroom for the Other 3 rooms, Private Sitting Room With TV & Free WIFI. Kitchen Facilities if Required .. Lakeside Chalet Optional HotTub/sauna sleeps 4-5

Skeaghvil chalets are located in a woodland setting beside Skeagh lake, near Bailieborough Cavan. The Hot Tub can be added to your stay for an extra charge and it’s not shared. Fishing boat is available to hire for Skeagh Lake and kayaking can be booked on the Castle Lake or your welcome to bring your own kayaks. Skeagh is an area of natural beauty and it’s a walkers paradise. There are various running and bike trails to choose from within a short distance of the chalets.

Cloverhill Gate Lodge

This old stone cottage built between 1830 -1850 is tucked away at the archway entrance to the Cloverhill Estate. This cottage is surrounded by gardens and woodland. The magic of this cottage is undeniable . Originally built for the Gate Keeper this cottage reflects heritage with rustic simplicity. Though some features and fittings have been replaced, the survival of historic features, including the label mouldings and timber bargeboards add to its character and charm.
