We are close to all south eastern attractions in Melbourne. For example: Morninton Peninsula, Phillip Island, Royal Botanic Garden Cranbourne (12km), Gumbuya World (35km, the best theme park in Melbourne). In addition, shopping and dining are also very convenient, we have Casey Central (1.4km walking distance), or to Westfield Fountain Gate (5.8km, the 2nd largest shopping mall in Australia). Located in Sassafras, Clare Cottage is the perfect forest retreat for exploring the Dandenong Ranges. Relax in the giant spa bath or read a book on the back deck overlooking the tree ferns. Enjoy a romantic night in with a home cooked meal in the full kitchen (oven, gas stove top, microwave). Star gaze by the outdoor fire pit in summer or snuggle by the indoor fireplace listening to a record in winter. Both bedrooms have top of the range bedding and offer stunning tree top views.

This 100 year old workers cottage is all about bespoke interiors The walls and shelves filled with gorgeous art work, the home has specially sourced vintage pieces scattered everywhere, the beds are filled with luxurious linens and the lounge has a 3 seater couch you may never want to get up from. Centrally located, across the road from the South Melbourne Markets, walking distance to the Albert Park Lake and a quick tram trip to the CBD. Please note- no TV, so bring devices if needed.

The Gables 2

The Gables is a gracious old house on three beautiful acres in Belgrave, close to wedding venues, national park, Trees adventure and Puffing Billy. We do not allow events at all, but we have many brides who stay with their bridesmaids on the eve of their wedding and have beautiful pre-wedding photos taken here. We are limited in parking to only 5 cars. There is a bathroom for each double room. Please be aware that we live on the property in the cottage next door.
