Ideally placed to access all the local villages and events, with beautiful walks from the farm gate!

Upside down stone Bothy on Marsden Moor

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Hillside cabin near Slaithwaite

Our simple wooden cabin has solar powered lighting and a south facing deck to enjoy the panoramic views. It is well insulated and sheltered by surrounding trees. There are footpaths and bike trails from the door. Zapato microbrewery is ten minutes walk away. The new off grid utility shed was completed in Dec 2025. It is next to the cabin. It includes a basic kitchen area, camping fridge and a small bathroom with a composting (waterless) toilet, sink and shower. Like camping without the tent!

A short walk from Strinesdale Reservoir and Bishop’s Park; ideal for walkers - bikes are available to use free of charge for active couples! Includes a double bedroom, lounge, kitchen, breakfast bar and bathroom. Free parking is available on the property. There is also an outdoor sitting area to relax and take in the hillside scenery on good weather days. We are situated next to The Roebuck Inn. A light breakfast is provided.

Pots & Pans Cottage, Saddleworth, Uppermill

Pots & Pans Cottage is a charming dog-friendly​ 18th-century weavers cottage located in a small hamlet 10 minutes walk from the centre of Uppermill village in Saddleworth, and 35 minutes away from Manchester. The location of the cottage is quiet and peaceful, so it is not a suitable place to hold a party. It is, however, a fabulous spot for a relaxing retreat into the countryside, with the open Peak District right on the doorstep.

Frankie's Cottage

Set in the hillside of Greenfield, Saddleworth. The cottage is situated on our family farm where we have a variety of animals: horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Due to the potential dangers we ask that guests do not access the yard and use the designated path to the cottage. The cottage has been recently renovated and features a wood burning stove and open wooden beams which has retained traditional character
