Hafod Y Llan Bach - a real escape to the country

Get away from the everyday with a break in the mountains of Wales. This private, detached barn conversion has it's own terrace, a wonderful open plan kitchen living room and a glamorous and romantic bedroom with an ensuite. Step outside and there are over 25 miles of forestry track starting from the front door and the 4.5 mile long Alwen Reservoir just 5 minutes walk away. The Rabbit Warren in the heart of Snowdonia

Rabbit Warren is a special, cosy space for couples and an optional dog; there is even a lock up for bikes, bags and boots. Warren Bach “Small Warren” is situated in the stunning Vale of Ffestiniog and access is via a track directly off the A487, providing great connectivity and making it the perfect basecamp to discover Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). In addition to wonderful views of Moelwyn Bach, Apr - Oct you will be able to view the steam train go by on the opposite side of the valley

My place is in the Snowdonia mountains, great views. You’ll love my place because of the location. My place is good for couples, groups, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). If you like walking the mountains or easier more level walks this is the place to be. The house is 30 min drive from Surf Snowdonia, Zip world, Penrhyn Quarry, Zip World Bounce Below, Zip World Forest, The Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway. There are many Welsh Castles within a short drive.

Portmerion, Snowdon, Bodnant Gardens, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Velocity & Titan Zip Wire's and Conwy Castle are all within a 40 minute drive. 1 small dog accepted on request.

Glanrafon Cottage is an 1850's Coachmans terraced cottage. That has recently been lovingly renovated to a high standard, with everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable escape. Situated in the heart of Snowdonia. The perfect location for exploring the National Park and all it has to offer. Or if you prefer you could sit and relax in our Zen Garden and enjoy the wonderful view.
