Accommodation is a small cottage set in bushland, very comfortable and fully supplied with all essentials. The cottage is really only best for a couple, but if required a porta cot is available for a baby. Cooking facilities, frypan, microwave, air fryer, electric kettle, toaster and dish ware and cutlery supplied. T.V. and wifi available. In winter Pot Belly stove to keep you warm. Only 3 minutes drive to a beach. Ample parking for caravans. We don’t allow pets. We have 3 Golden Retrievers.

Your baseline booking provides for 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6. The 4th King Bedroom is available UPON REQUEST, for an additional booking fee, providing for up to 8 guests. Our little piece of paradise is looking forward to you relaxing and enjoying the house and surrounds. During Summer mosquitos can be an issue. We supply repellant but recommend you bring some. There's plenty of space to relax. Ideal to read a good book, swim or if you're lucky, watch some dolphins! Bream in the river we supply fishing rods. A jigsaw to complete or a board game for fun!. Kayak up or down river. Walk to the Ravo for a Pub Meal! Go for relaxing walks.

Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.

We’ve done a Reno on the gazebo on the lake so you’ll be able sit down and enjoy a wine overlooking the water. You can take a dip in the lake , paddle the kayak or try your luck to catch a red fin. Take an morning /evening stroll around the orchard and vegie patch and visit the ponies and horses.
