Located in the picturesque village of Foolow in the centre of the Peak District National Park. Foolow (originally "la foulowe" - 1284) meaning a hill frequented by birds, is one of the hidden gems of the Peak District. Within easy travel to many Peak District attractions and walks. We warmly welcome well behaved doggies.

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.

Set in this historical village of Eyam within Hope valley, this 3 bedroom cottage, with multifuel log burner and fully equipped kitchen, is the ideal retreat for a relaxing break or provides the base from which to explore the many beautiful gems the peak district has to offer. Within 7 miles is Chatsworth house and Bakewell although Eyam itself is steeped in history and great walks. A fantastic setting and central to all.
