Farm Stay at Panther Branch with Sauna

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

The Doe Branch Cabin - Modern Mountain Retreat

Sense of Place. That is the inspiration here, at least in part. The cabin is situated on 12 private acres in a remote corner of Madison County, surrounded by national forest, streams, and clear mountain air. The property has a history of artist residents, and we encourage creatives of all types to come seek the inspiration found by those that came before. The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

Kevin built our barn a while back. Airbnb didn't exist and we were excited to be starting a goat dairy. Now the kitchen sits where we used to milk our sweet goats by hand! Kevin, a woodworker has created a work of art. We are happy to offer our guests a vacation space located in the heart of the mountains, 30 minutes from Asheville. 28 acres offer trails for hiking, disc golf, swimming in the pond, and decompress from your life's stress. A three bedroom cabin great for a couple or family. The Appalachian Trail and National Forest can be accessed just 100 feet from the front door! The well-stocked kitchenette provides for all basic food preparation needs, and the town of Hot Springs is only a two minute drive away. Hurricane Helene update: We are fortunate that our property is higher up and did not flood. Thanks to the hard work of many people, all utilities have been restored at the cabin. Our town is in recovery.
