The apartment is perfectly situated in The Hague's old "Statenkwartier" (Scheveningen) and is a great base for cycling trips, hikes and cultural activities. The harbour, the beach and nice restaurants are close by. Tram nr 17 and 11 stop right around the corner and brings you to the city-center within several minutes. The beach is only a 14 minute walk away.

It is a quiet spot behind the dunes in the village of Wijk aan Zee, on walking distance (10 min.) from the widest beach of Holland. Het ligt op recreatiepark De Meerparel in de jachthaven van Uitgeest met mogelijkheden om te zeilen, surfen, vissen en zwemmen. De snelweg A9 is goed bereikbaar dus u bent zo in Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem of op Schiphol. Ook het strand van Castricum is binnen 15 minuten te bereiken.

It's a 15-minute walk along the river to the city center, and you can do it in 5 minutes by bikes we provide. 20 min to Amsterdam by bus or train, 20 min to the beach bus/train, bike 30 min. It is 40 minutes from the airport.

On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.

Of course the beach of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal aan Zee is easy to reach as well. Amsterdam is just 15 min by train. After a beach day or city visit you can relax on the patio.
