The KNSM Island is one of the hidden gems of Amsterdam, quiet and peaceful, but close to the city center. It is possible to sit outside on a private terrace and jump in the water for a swim. The sunsets are pretty spectacular as well.

Located in a beautiful green street very near the center: 2 stops by tram or 15 min walk from central station. We don't serve breakfast but provide many nice basics to prepare your own.

Dit schip uit 1886 maakte vroeger deel uit van de Hollandse zeilende binnen-vaart, welke gebruikt werd voor het vervoer van vele bouwmaterialen en levensmiddelen. Inmiddels is de Johannes omgebouwd tot woonschip, waarvan drie etages van de stuurhut zijn ingericht voor u die graag overnacht in het centrum van Amsterdam doch ook enige rust waardeert. Gezellig straatje& super centraal. U logeert privé op de achterkant van het schip welke vroeger de stuurhut en machineruimte was.
