Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

It is very individual and situated in a quiet , rural setting. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The village of Martinstown has an excellent pub and shop. Set in “Broadchurch country” in the village of Symondsbury, it is a short drive to Bridport, West Bay & several beautiful beaches along Dorset's Jurassic coast. With a 16th Century, Michelin star pub 500 yards away (open Thu-Sun) it sits at the foot of the famous Colmers Hill. The area is well known for walking. Jasmine Cottage is a characterful, compact barn conversion, that sits next to the 400 year old farm house. It sleeps up to four people (including infants), with a double and a twin room. We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.

Beech Cottage with beautiful countryside views.

Our cosy terraced cottage is nestled in amongst National Trust farmland, down a small farm track. It is one of six cottages that have been converted from a stone barn. There are beautiful views of the surrounding countryside including Dorset's famous Golden Cap, with walking right from the front door. The large shared garden, makes it an ideal getaway for families or couples and each cottage has it's own parking space. Seatown beach is a very short walk away, as are the local pubs.
