The house is an old-fashioned Japanese one story farmhouse. Visitors to Japan will enjoy the authentic traditional environment. In the Spring, you can enjoy the blooming plum flowers and camellia in the garden. During the early summer, you may hear the frogs croaking at night. In autumn, the singing of the bell cricket evokes the spirit of Japan. Our hotel’s place is near SENBON-MARUTAMACHI bus stop only 2 minutes walk from there. This is very useful bus stop, you can go directly to ARASHIYAMA , KINKAKUJI-TEMPLE,KIYOMIZU-TEMPLE, JR KYOTO STATION and so on. Our family founded Japanese rice shop in 1894 but I remodeled into hotel this spring. We are living long time here, and I want to keep my family’s business and hospitality mind for hotel work. Because the guest room is only 2, each room separate, so you can spend calmly and relax.

四季折々の田園風景と鳥のさえずりや虫の声をBGMに、滋賀県南部の中山間地に田園が広がる小さな山里です。夜は、外灯以外真っ暗で星空がきれいで静かです。素泊まりで外食されるもよし、家族や友達とキッチンで自炊されるもよし、お気軽にお泊りいただけます。農家自慢のお米とおにぎりの具材を用意しておりますので、土鍋か炊飯器で炊いてお召しあがりください。炊飯されない時は、お持ち帰りできます。就寝は、畳ベッドの上に敷布団（ロングサイズ）とシーツをしいて、羽毛ふとんをかけておやすみいただきます。（４人目の方は簡易ベッドになります）夏にはタオルケットを冬には毛布や電気あんかの用意があります。アクセスは、国道３０７号線杉山交差点から県道５号木津方向に入り１㎞約２分です。新名神信楽ICから１１㎞、名阪国道壬生野ICから２１㎞、京滋バイパス笠取ICから３６㎞、市バスは朝宮線で杉山バス停で下車後徒歩約２分です。なお、最寄り駅の信楽高原鉄道信楽駅までの送迎をしますので予約時にお知らせください。チェックインとチェックアウトは母屋の玄関でルームキーの受け渡しをお願いします。のんびり田舎においでくださいませ。

西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The price is scheduled to increase from March 2026.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
