Twin Oaks is an updated doublewide home perched on a basalt knoll with 11 beautiful acres overlooking vineyards and the Columbia River. Views include river and gorge to the west and north. In springtime see waterfalls on the Washington cliffs. Located 8 miles east of Hood River, Twin Oaks is near Mosier on scenic Hwy 30. This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

Little House on the Hill - Gorge Getaway Home Base

This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. Hood from the yard and lovely territorial views. At night, you can enjoy the beauty of a Milky Way sky far from city light pollution. Come. Enjoy. Relax. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A Relaxed shack is just that! Reboot your soul in this OFF GRID (no running water, or electricity) quiet retreat. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and breathe. Birds, deer, squirrels and the distant howling coyotes reminds you you’re in the woods and away from civilization. Cabin has a comfy queen sized bed, record player with records, power station, minimal cooking supplies, propane AND wood fire pit, and a Blackstone stove.

Our family friendly home is 2 blocks to shopping and dining on Main St., close to the local coffee shop and grocery store, as well as many local attractions. The Goldendale Observatory, Presby Museum, Maryhill Museum and Vineyard, Stonehenge Memorial and St. John the Forerunner Monastery and Bakery are great places to explore and are about 15 minutes away. Our home is THE spot to stay while on your next adventure.

The property includes a walking trail, 8 hole frisbee golf, farm animals, farm fresh eggs, and ranch raised beef.

This rustic tiny house has french doors on both sides that open up to the woods, and to the pasture. Enjoy the fresh air and get cozy. Nearby to COR Cellars and Syncline, the Klickitat Trail along the Klickitat River is great for hiking and gravel biking, and of course - the Columbia for wind surfing and kite boarding. Wifi can be spotty. An additional tiny house is on the property. Approx. 100 ft away. Host lives on site. Caution: house has many levels. Be mindful when you enter!
