Cabin on Shimmering Pond

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly, dogs only ($50 per stay, max 2 dogs) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.

Historic Carriage House

Located in a historic district of Mount Vernon, the Carriage House has been renovated to infuse modern conveniences with historic charm. Just blocks from downtown, the Carriage House is 2 miles from Mt Vernon Nazarene University and 5.5 miles from Kenyon College. The Carriage House features a master suite in the loft, with a comfy queen size bed, and a separate sitting area with a 55" TV. The main level also has a youth suite in the transformed garage that kids and teens will love!

Welcome to our backyard paradise! We'd like to invite you to relax in our Country Loft, overlooking an inground pool, koi pond, firepit and pavilion. Our home, surrounded by organic crops, sits on 115 acres, evoking a sense of peace and tranquility. You are welcome to enjoy a fire in the pit, or swim in the heated pool which is open June through mid September. We our conveniently located 3 miles between Gambier and Kenyon College and Mount Vernon and the Nazarene University.

Gorgeous lake views! Bring the crew to this unique home with room for fun. Deep wooded lot perched on a hill overlooking Apple Valley Lake. Just 22 miles from Snow Trails ski resort and 15 miles from Mohican attractions. Three levels of finished interior rooms and outdoor spaces to relax. Three balconies, two screened porches and wide patio space. Suitable for a getaway with adults friends or multiple generations of family members. Toys, games and infant gear on property.

Looking Glass Inn- Historic District

Step through the Looking Glass where vintage charm meets modern amenities. Set on a brick street, this 1918 home features original trim and stained glass! Enjoy the private back yard, or walk to the square, where you can enjoy local town favorites. Kokosing Gap Trail, MNVU, Kenyon College, and Knox Community Hospital all with in a short drive. OF NOTE: Porch has recently been replaced. It is awaiting paint in the spring, and may look different than photos.

This location is close to everything and anything you would like to see at the Kenyon College campus. We offer a transportation service to and from the Columbus airport. $150.00 per trip for up to 4 people with luggage. Message me at booking to schedule.
