Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place, nestled under a pear tree in Uphill Nelson. A short downhill stroll to downtown Nelson and iconic Baker Street. Whether you're here for the snow or the trails, this is a great home base. We offer EV charging (level 2) and off-street parking, eco soaps/detergents/cleaning products, cotton linens; a Nelson gem! We provide lakeside accommodation located on 4 acres of forested property with breathtaking views of the Arrow Lakes and the surrounding mountains. This modern Studio Suite has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Comfortable queen bed, full kitchen & bathroom and space to unwind after a day out. Relax on your private deck, use our canoe or kayaks, or swim in the clean waters of Arrow Lakes just a few minutes walk from your doorstep! Pets are welcome with a fee and following guidelines.

Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.
