Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. Captains Retreat Cottage is a private one bedroom ( very comfy 6ft superking) cottage in the heart of Lymington. Free unlimited parking a few minutes walk away.The high street is 5 mins walk , lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and a museum. There is a very popular market on Saturdays. At the bottom of the high street is the stunning Lymington quay on the cobbles, a popular place for a coffee or grab a local boat trip. Nearby there are beautiful walks and a marina. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Woodstown Cottage is the private annex to Woodstown House. Newly refurbished, walking distance to open forest and 10 minute drive to the coast, ideally located to cover all outdoor pursuits. With beautiful country views, the bedroom has a very comfortable king-size bed, bathroom with electric shower, spacious living room, separate fully fitted kitchen and enclosed garden which is safe for dogs. The living room has a sofa bed which could accommodate two small children or one older child.
