Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. The Old Silk Barn off Bruton High Street

The Studio at the Old Silk Barn is a newly created space for two people situated literally off Bruton High Street with its Michelin Star Restaurant, numerous art galleries, Museum, shops and restaurants. The space consists of a luxury kitchen & breakfast bar, sitting area, ingenious Italian Murphy bed, & is very comfortably & stylishly furnished. The apartment with underfloor heating, offers a large bathroom, TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher & everything needed for a comfortable self catered stay.

Secluded Cabin on a Farm near Woods and Footpaths

Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it!

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury Shepherd’s Hut nestled in a quiet hamlet. Enjoy the large hut’s interior amid thoughtful industrial style decor and modern finishes and embrace outdoor living in your own large outdoor space, surrounded by breathtaking views of the countryside. Relax in the large fire fuelled hot tub, lounge on the deck in front of the fire pit or grab a bean bag and find a quiet spot in your own private paddock. This place offers luxurious comfort indoors and out.

The Rook- A perfect little countryside retreat

The Rook is situated within the garden of our lovingly restored grade ll listed cottage. Barn-like in structure, it's a bright and airy space providing a simple yet stylish hideaway. Although we are located in the rural village of South Brewham we are close to the delights of Bruton with all its offerings. You have your own entrance, a lush kingsize bed, an ensuite walk-in shower, coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge. An additional single bed can be made up on the mezzanine.

Godminster Manor Cottage

Set in a private cobbled courtyard on an organic farm, half a mile from Bruton, this old stone cottage has been lovingly restored. It has an inglenook fireplace, oak-framed roofs, flagstone and elm floors, with art and furniture collected over many years filling the rooms. Bruton is renowned for its restaurants and art galleries. The 'Newt in Somerset' is next door and there many other wonderful nearby destinations and beautiful walks from the farm within the surrounding countryside.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

The Green Hut: A haven of peace and tranquility

The Green Hut is a cosy but luxurious getaway in the walker's paradise of in Batcombe, situated just behind our converted barn in a tree-lined paddock. This self-contained shepherd's hut is perfect for one or two people to immerse themselves in true rural relaxation, whilst being close to the beautiful market towns of Frome and Bruton. Whether sat outside soaking up the views in the sunshine, or snuggled up by the wood burner on a rainy day, The Green Hut is the ideal place to unwind.

It has an exceptionally comfortable super kingsize bed, rolltop bath, huge velvet sofa, sound system, 50" TV, fully equipped kitchen, dining area & shower room.

Rookham View Lodge is located on a smallholding on top of the Mendips overlooking Wells. Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.

Wrens House is a shepherds hut nestled in the Alham Valley, an area of re-wilding close to the fashionable towns of Bruton and Frome. We have an outdoor bath so what better way to cool down and relax. Included in your stay is our delicious breakfast. Want a place you can get back to nature?
