Artist’s Eco Cabin - The Nest

The Nest is privately located overlooking our farm & highlands. It's rustic & glamorous with small touches that make it unique. The Nest sleeps four (second bed is a double futon) & has full cooking & washroom facilities. It's equipped with a wood stove, fridge, BBQ, & solar lights. The outdoor washroom in the pines offers both an on-demand hot shower (summer only) & a composting toilet. The farm has plenty of activities for our guests to enjoy. N.S. Light and airy guest suite attached to main level of our family home. Includes one queen bed, full bath with shower, and kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, toaster and sink. Shared barbeque located on lower level. Small private patio off the back of the suite and parking in front. There are no shared spaces in the suite. The solid wood lodge sits on a large private wooded lot that features a 1300 ft driveway, manicured lawn, spectacular panoramic mountain & ocean views and astonishing star-gazing at night.

A perfect location to kayak, swim, river tube or fish within walking distance of 6 salmon pools, plenty of free parking, your home away from home awaits your arrival. I built this home to be a secluded, barrier-free chalet for the ultimate Cape Breton experience.

This lovingly crafted tiny house on wheels has 2 lofts, one double bed accessed by ladder and the other has stairs leading up to a queen bed. On the main level living space, there is a double pull out sofa allowing the Red House to accommodate 6 people. This tiny house offers a fully appointed spacious kitchen, a 3 piece bathroom including a flush toilet, as well as Wifi, smart TV, infloor heating and AC. Kayaks & SUP’s, BBQ shelter use are included with your stay.

Swallow Bank Cottage #3 on the Margaree River

This one bedroom cottage is located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 3 has been recently renovated inside and out. New bathroom, upgraded kitchen, and a queen bed with a luxury Logan & Cove mattress. The cottage also has a sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. Check in is anytime after 3pm. Check out is 11am.
