Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Be a part of history while staying on this waterfront property of the Ironmaster's Mansion. The two-story stone guesthouse, steps away from the mansion, was built in the year 1715. The timeless character of the home, paired with the peaceful property creates an escape that feels like you've gone back in time, all while being only 20 minutes outside of Lancaster City. The mansion was home to the first treasurer of the US, General Edward Hand’s daughter, and President Buchanan’s fiance.

You Can have a seat on the large porch overlooking the Conodoguinet creek and enjoy watching nature , watch your kids playing and splashing in the creek , make dinner with the BBQ grill on the back patio or be just plain lazy ! There is no tv at this place , our goal is to have our guests enjoy nature and in this way be refreshed and ready to go back to work.

Welcome to our Creekside Cottage! I have called this place home for most of my life, playing in the back yard, waving at the steady stream of kayakers or going creeking and exploring the islands. Nowadays, I still adventure out with my kids but you'll also find me kicking back and enjoying the sights from the big picture window or out on the back deck watching the sunset.
