Only 25 mins from historic York. Perfect to explore York, North York Moors, East Riding and the Coast. Great walking country!

York is 20 min by car. Country Houses , Sledmere, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Family/ friends, Male or Female groups welcome. A comfortable ground floor apartment located alongside to our cafe and campsite within easy walking distance from the historic market town of Pocklington. Originally created as a self contained home for my parents has been thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind. It offers wheelchair access through the front door, along with a large shower with grab handles, and a raised toilet. An open plan kitchen, dining and lounge are with very comfortable high backed electric recliner chairs.

Relax in this calm, stylish space. Pocklington is a lovely market town outside of York. This is my part-time home so, there's everything you need, including games, kitchen essentials, a comfy king size bed & 2 parking spaces. The cosy living room has a large dining table and a double comfy sofa bed. Perfect if you like a bold, colourful and clean place to stay. * This ground floor flat is not suited for most people with mobility issues. There is a sofa bed & the main bed is on a platform.

There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

NO SMOKERS. The HOT TUB is exclusively yours! This barn is unsuitable for children. Please ensure that all guests are happy with the house rules before booking. Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.
