It is a completely self contained, comfortable space with it's own entrance. Every window and both terraces have beautiful country views overlooking orchards and forest. It is quiet and serene and yet within walking distance to a lively cafe which serves excellent meals. It is 15 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the lovely town of Caldas da Rainha.

“Casa do Forno"- Cozy cottage under the vine

In our lovely quinta "Quinta Horta da Rosa" our holiday cottage “Casa do Forno” is a small cosy renovated old bakehouse. There are beautiful original features such as the old fireplace and the opening of the former oven. In between the two cottages there is a large terrace under a huge vine that provides shade all day long. At night relax on the sofa outdoors underneath the fairy lights hidden in the vine. Outside you will find an outdoor kitchen, and a barbeque.

Maison entièrement rénovée avec une vue imprenable sur la plus grande lagune d'Europe. La maison est située dans un lieu très calme au bord de l'eau à quelques minutes d'une grande ville. La plage vous attend et vous pourrez choisir entre l'eau plus chaude de la lagune ou les vagues de l'océan. Vous avez aussi à votre disposition une piscine privée qui bénéficie d'un ensoleillement de 11h au coucher du soleil (exposition sud-ouest)

A nossa casa está localizada numa zona muito tranquila, a 5 minutos do centro da cidade de Caldas da Rainha, cidade conhecida pelo seu patrimônio cultural excecional, que inclui a cerâmica, a história termal e a gastronomia local. Nas proximidades, a 15 minutos de carro da vila de Óbidos, da lagoa de Óbidos e da praia da Foz do Arelho, é o local perfeito para experimentar o campo, o mar e o sol com ricas experiências culturais.

Casa na Lagoa is our weekend escape, our house at the beach, from summer to winter. From welcoming our friends and family, it was a natural step to open the place to guests. It is much more than just the house, the comfort, the fireplace & the calmnness, it is also about the place, the empty beaches, the sunsets, the fish, & the vast lagoon. ...and our 3 children love it.
