Palmento San Nicolò

Nestled on a quiet country road in the heart of a vineyard planted on Monte San Nicolo, the accommodation includes 2 buildings, a Palmento from 1902 which houses the wine press and its outbuilding which was once used as a tool shed. The two spaces are united by a corten structure with a slatted roof, which provides a shady open plan kitchen and dining area next to a terrace and 4m x 7m salt water swimming pool, built in lava stone, recreating the the colours of the Etna coastline

Our structure consists of 6 lodgings; Each of which bears the name of a variety of Sicilian main olive cultivar (predominant tree in the main park) and precisely: Pizzuta, Nocellara, Carolea, Minuta, Ogliarola and Moresca. Located at the foot of the Etna volcano, it offers the possibility of various excursions both towards the volcano and towards the most famous Sicilian beaches, equipped with all the comforts necessary for a relaxing holiday in a splendid naturalistic setting.
