The cottage sleeps four, 1 large master bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a small bedroom with adult bunks (plus a guest bed for a fifth guest). Well behaved dogs are welcome! Tastefully decorated throughout, the living room boasts a Swedish log burner and bifold doors out onto your own fully enclosed garden, great for your dog Kitchen fully equipped with granite worktops, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine. Little Coombe

Little Coombe welcomes all couples, lone travellers and fellow pooches. Little Coombe is a totally self-contained cottage attached to the main cottage, where the owner lives. It is a tranquil stone cottage sitting by the brook in a small hamlet near Shaftesbury. The cottage was formerly two thatched farm cottages and where our family has lived for nearly 100 years! We live next door in the main cottage, but guests will have their own entrance and garden space and their privacy is guaranteed.

The self-catering cottage is in a unique gated courtyard near the foot of Gold Hill and is within a short walk of the town centre and a local pub. It is compact and therefore suitable for singles and couples (I do not accept 3rd party bookings), and we also welcome well-behaved pets. You will have use of a private enclosed garden a short walk from the cottage, and on-street parking is available nearby.

Unique location on the historic Gold Hill, Dorset

An 1860s cottage on the historic and famous Gold Hill in the beautiful town of Shaftesbury, Dorset. There's 3 bedrooms - two smaller attic double bedrooms and the main bedroom which is spacious with a king bed. Whilst we often have 5 guests I'd say it's more suitable to 4 adults - 5 is better suited to famiies with children. Less than an hour from the Jurassic Coast and 25mins to Stonehenge we're in a great spot or just enjoy the countryside on your doorstep.
