With great views of the mountains from the property, its perfect to get away and get out in nature. Hiking trails, mountain biking, and water falls with over 30,000 acres of Pristine Forest. Relax on the deck porch or dip in the cool water. Time to get back to nature. Outdoor fire pit (wood provided) and charcoal grill (bring charcoal/lighter). Fall and Winter are beautiful times of the year to visit. Sit around the bonfire roasting marshmallows !

The Cottage at Old Oaks Farm

Built in the early 1900's, this serene cottage is located approximately one mile from Furman University at the base of Paris Mt. It has been lovingly improved, but the floors are a bit slanted and no corner is exactly square. Located in a neighborhood on a five acre farm, it consists of three large rooms, comfortably furnished and lots of natural light. The cottage is convenient to downtown Greenville(5 miles),Travelers Rest, Furman, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. No pet fee or cleaning fee.

You can be in Hendersonville, NC, in 20 minutes, Asheville, in 40. The Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy 11 is a few miles down the road. Very peaceful and private setting. Owners are through the woods.
