Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Positioned on the 4th floor, this two-bedroom penthouse apartment has both stair and elevator access. The Penthouse is centrally located with easy access to US-101 and just steps from some of the best local restaurants, bars and shops in Humboldt County.

Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

Our 710 sq. ft. attached guest house has a small fenced in yard and sits close enough to stroll down to view the ocean or take a 5 min. drive to enjoy the local Hammond hiking/bike trails, and nearby shops and restaurants. An easy trip from Arcata airport (ACV) or Hwy 101 and close access to the areas known beaches, redwood forests, lagoons and marshes to explore. Humboldt Cal Poly is located just 6 miles South.

Welcome! You’ll be staying in the ground floor of our split level home that is nestled amongst the redwoods but still close to the coast. The apartment is accessed via a separate private entrance on the ground floor.. This private space is ideal as a home base for exploring the amazing Redwood Coast. The spacious yard with play equipment makes it a fun stay for families and the well appointed interior is comfortable for visiting professionals.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This cozy cottage is nestled on four and a half acres of beautiful second growth redwoods just outside the town of Trinidad. It is a small and simple cottage with three beds and all the necessities needed to cook. The cottage's main heat source is a gas fireplace. WIFI service is available, there is no tv/entertainment center, so bring your laptop if you want to.

It is a modern, clean, secluded retreat located in a forested area of a quiet neighborhood between Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata and scenic coastlines and majestic redwoods. 2025 update: all new staircase for easier access to the loft.
