The Stables on Berg Street

Situated within walking distance of the village and offering a comfy bed, living area and courtyard, The Stables is the perfect place to explore Franschhoek. We offer a fridge, microwave, kettle, indoor and courtyard table and chairs. This space is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. As we have lived in Franschhoek for over 40 years, we are trustworthy hosts and know the area well. Great news is we have an inverter for lights and wifi to assist during load shedding.

Our free standing stylishly renovated cottage is situated at the back of the property and has it’s own private garden courtyard. Fully equipped modern kitchen, living room, bedroom with skylight, Q-XL bed & en-suite bathroom. The cottage has AC, Wifi, smart TV (Netflix, Prime vid), an alarm and 24 hr patrol vehicle in this beautifull, quiet street of the neighbourhood. We are a young, lively family of 4 and some related sounds might be heard. Easy access to mountain for runs, walks, mtb.

The cottage has everything you need to enjoy a holiday in the beautiful Winelands with your family or friends. The endless view of the Drakenstein Mountains spread out in front of you with the ever changing colours and shades is mesmerising. The pool in front of the cottage allows for a cool down when needed. The cottage itself is very unique, warm and friendly with mix of old and new.

A clothes rack and hand basin are also in the open area. The bathroom consists of a shower and toilet. Protea is close to restaurants, coffee shops ,Paarl Mall and numerous well known wine farms

Beautiful quiet and self-catered studio apartment in the serene, exclusive and safe neighbourhood of Upper Brandwacht, located in the hills above Stellenbosch, around 6 minutes’ drive from the centre of town. The house is nestled between vineyards and mountains, and is just a few minutes’ walk away from a beautiful forest, nature reserve and mountain biking tracks. There is a wonderful sense of peace to this neighbourhood and the views are spectacular.
