Prepare dinner in a well-appointed kitchenette and dine inside in front of a best-in-class Dimplex electric fireplace/heater. Relax and enjoy company or watch TV in all-leather living room furniture. Luxuriate in our natural wood platform bed with a Casper memory foam mattress.

La Casita

La Casita is situated in our back yard. It is on the 1st level of 4 (4th at street), so be prepared to use stairs. Although once arrived it is very peaceful and quiet. Downtown Berkeley is ~10-15 minute drive. El Cerrito Plaza Bart Station is a 6 minute drive. Solano Avenue (shops and restaurants) is a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk). Farmers Market every Sunday (10-2) is a 7 minute walk. We look forward to having you stay at our property and happy to answer any questions you may have.

A large monitor and standing desk makes it easy to work or stream movies using our gigabit Wi-Fi. Easy parking and bus access.

Berkeley Hills Hideaway

Modern, comfy, newly-rebuilt studio in the lower level of our Kensington home is a peaceful home base for exploring the Bay Area. Neighborhood is close to U.C. Berkeley, Tilden Park, Memorial Stadium and the Greek. It's an easy drive/ride to San Francisco and Oakland, and there's plenty to see and do close by. Village shops and a cafe are a (hilly) walk away, and larger stores are convenient to reach. Tennis, basketball courts and walking trail are down the street.

The Berkeley Bitty House is our cozy little detached guesthouse, located in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a few minutes drive to campus and within walking distance to many landmarks. Although itty bitty, it feels luminous and private, with a large skylight and windows that overlook a private deck with hot tub. The view of the bay from the private deck is breathtaking.

Our little guesthouse is completely detached from the main house and offers a quiet, comfortable and private place for work and/or relaxation.
