On the site of The Old School House & The Royal British Legion, Poppy Cottage is a newly refurbished & extended, luxury, true cottage at the heart of this wonderful, rural Village, a perfect base for exploring the area. This is a self contained and is the residential part of a barn conversion. It consists of 2 bedrooms upstairs. One with a super king size bed. The other with 2 single beds. Downstairs there is a study/single bedroom, a large sitting room, large kitchen and bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. The indoor swimming pool is across a courtyard and is 10x5m. Guests are welcome to use the garden.There are free range hens, ducks and peacocks. Private parking. No smoking. EV charger available at cost of £0.55kWh.

Underfloor heating and a logburning stove mean you'll be warm as toast while you relax and recharge your batteries. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Ribble Valley countryside in your own enclosed garden with serviced, covered hot tub. When the day is done, head upstairs to comfortable bedrooms complete with ensuite bathrooms and high quality linens.

Totally Isolated Pennine Cabin

A cosy, rustic hut in a field with 2 comfy kingsize beds (sheets & duvet not provided), en suite shower & loo, set in a secluded spot on a small, quiet 36 acre farm with fishing lake & boat in a remote, beautiful, little visited, yet very accessible area of the Pennines with expansive views of the stunning Thursden Valley. An extensive network of footpaths lead to Extwistle Moor, the cairn circle & tumuli above Ell Clough, the Bronte Way, Pennine Way & Bridleway. Sorry no dogs. No loud music.
