The Merc gets double billing because it has a great food AND a pretty robust local music scene. Be sure to check their website for a calendar of events and for hours, as they vary by day and season.

If you’re up for an adventure up a canyon to this tiny little town, you should plan on brunch here. It is very casual, really tasty, and incredibly “local”. Cyclists often ride up the canyon to this spot, but you can drive (just be careful of the cyclists). It is small town country heaven.

This is a locally owned restaurant/bar/music venue. Has home cooked meals on Thursday evenings with live music Thursday and Saturday evenings. An opportunity for being part of the small town mountain culture.

This a uniquely old cafe, where one can check out all the colorful local characters who live nearby. Weekend brunch is excellent! Cook Rainbow and her staff do a very good job. They serve a Thursday night dinner (w/music). They were voted one of the 25 best brunch places in Colorado! LIve music happens every MWThFS evening.
