KEXP at Seattle Center is home to their audio and video broadcast studios, the KEXP Live Room and Viewing Gallery, as well as the Gathering Space, a community hub for music lovers. What do Seattleites seem to crave most? Yep...music and coffee (Cafe Vita on site).

One of a kind radio station housed in a one of a kind space. A must-see. Includes coffee, pastries and vinyl records. Not to mention window into the DJ booth and stage for live shows.

KEXP is a nationally recognized public radio station featuring the best independent artists/bands. You can get a tour of the studio (I recommend signing up online) and/or watch them broadcast from the cafe (there's a viewing window into the broadcasting booth). If you're lucky, you can catch a live show from a visiting artist. Check out KEXP.org or their schedule.

KEXP has been the sound of Seattle for a long time. And they've turned their studio space into a gathering space for the community. Go catch a tour, or just hang out, sip the best and froofiest coffee in town, and get some of that avocado toast you've been hearing about. Free wifi, too. Sometimes there's live music! But even when there's not, you can watch the DJ do his or her thing behind the glass while you're lounging.
