The third of our three favorite neighborhood record stores, Record Breakers appears on the strength of their deep inventory, being easily the largest nearby record store. They have impressive collections of new and used inventory and a very generous punch card reward card, in case you're interested in a bigger purchase.

Ok, this is actually a store, but it's also a cultural icon -- and my personal happy place. For decades it was above Reggie's bar in the South Loop but by a lucky stroke of fate, Colin and Eric decided to move to our stretch of Milwaukee. It's the perfection of a used record store. Just go in for the vibe, the smell, listen to whatever fabulous music they've got playing on their fabulous sound system. They also have live music. Not to be missed!
