The Botanical gardens are worth a visit as part of a day trip to the NW side of Chiang Mai (around Doi Suthep), where you will also find attractions such as the Tiger World, Snake Park, the Karen Hill Tribe village and so on. The gardens are extensive, feature an aerial walk and many indoor houses of strange and exotic plants.
The biggest Botanical Garden in South East Asia. This place preserve many species of tropical plants and other rare plants. Watching rare and beautiful plants in good presentation in each domes could bring you joy and it's cheap. Only THB 100/person(foreigner) and THB40/psn.(Thai).

Inside one of the buildings, visitors will find a replicated tropical rainforest and another building houses beautiful desert plants. The grounds are absolutely lovely and the trails are very serene to walk through! Travel is definitely about people and the culture but sometimes it’s also about the nature that is all around and Sirikit Botanical Garden is a true pleasure to experience.
