Great coffee and food in a very beautiful shop

Swallow opened last year on Goldhawk Road, with a stand-out, bold blue shopfront and a greenery-filled interior. The coffee is from London roastery Ozone, there’s interesting art on the walls and a squishy sofa for kicking back in. Order from a simple but tasty menu of dishes such as boiled eggs with soldiers, corned-beef hash and heavenly banana bread. A new independent café, which – much like Proud Mary’s – has kept things local and is settling in nicely.
