Long before there was electricity, this place was supplying ice to the Portuguese nobility. Now its a museum high up in the mountains!

A melhor maneira de começar a conhecer a Serra do Montejunto. Aqui era feito o gelo que na Monarquia seguia para a Casa Real em carroças, coberto de palha e sal para não derreter na viagem de dias até Lisboa. Suba depois até ao cume da serra e conheça a ermida.
