The main section is set out like a zoo in the middle of a rain forest. spot the following; giraffes, hippos, turtles, crocodiles, and snakes. there's, a butterfly pavilion. Some of the creatures, but thankfully not the crocodiles, may be seen when wandering around the park. Feeding shows for guests done daily mostly mid morning and in the afternoon.

Visit the Bamburi nature trail, next to Haller Park, and take a walk through the man-made forest and lakes, or hire a bicycle and ride round the trail or just have a picnic on a shaded grassy spot!
