This classic 1920s Lido is open during the summer months, and is a great place to get some outdoor swimming in on a hot day. The pool is heated (so fine in the rain too!), and there are hot showers and changing rooms. Around the pool are lawns for sunbathing, shade from trees, and you can take your own picnic. During school holidays it can get very busy... to avoid the crowds, go early or in the last hour (adults only).

Old-fashioned Lido style outdoor pool. Lovely little sprinkler and fountain area for tots.

This place is fantastic when the sun is shining. One of the best outdoor pools you'll find - both the setting and the facilities. It's not a slide-park, but you can spend a day here.
