It is an amazing place to visit .You can go either with car either on foot I consist you better on foot to walk on the traditional street and explore the shops there .In my opinion it’s a well worth it historical site to visit not only because you learn a lot of information but also it has a wonderful overall view of the city.

Kavala's Castle, beautiful view nice walk in the old city to get there. Uphill road so preferably visit in the evening or early morning to avoid the summer heat.
