This is only 5 miles away. People travel from all over to come here. Kurt Cobain lived here and died here. There is a park bench on a grassy hill where people leave messages for Kurt. His house is next door with the wooden driveway gate.

Park with memory bench next to Kurt Cobain's former home. A small park with lovely view of Lake Washington facing West. Additional water front parks along Lake Washington Blvd and great for checking out beautiful homes and gardens in the area.

This small park in the Denny-Blaine neighborhood of Seattle is charming, but what it’s really known for is the location of Kurt Cobain’s memorial bench. Many visitors come to this park expressly for the purpose of leaving a note or trinket on the bench in honor of Kurt Cobain’s memory.
