Sister restaurant to the Whitstable Oyster Compnay and more casual, this place is round the back of the harbour, beyond the aggregate factory. It has a nice atmosphere and good food but maybe a bit pricey for what you get.

One of our own favourites if you fancy a short run out to the Whitsable and Herne Bay Coast. Serving fresh locally caught seafood. Recommend the lobster and oysters.

Great Views! The Lobster Shack is a beach bar serving a selection of hot and cold seafood, with daily specials, amazing local beers and local wine. With amazing beach views and lots of outdoor seating The Lobster Shack is the perfect summer destination. In the winter months we have a cosy log burner making the restaurant suitable for all weathers! www.thelobstershack.co.uk

This canteen-style beach shack is always bustling and turns out tasty plates of lobster and fish and chips at quite a pace. There is also an oyster bar, which offers different shellfish varieties and toppings. Tables right on the beach and a great spot to watch the sunset. Not bookable. Dog friendly inside and out and a favourite of ours.
